With over 6000 members tuning in regularly, Sam Bailey’s Cuppa Crew has been a smash hit among her dedicated fanbase across the UK and worldwide. Now, Sam hopes to evolve the community spirit that has become so closely associated within the group to help combat loneliness and isolation this Christmas time.
Buddy up with Bailey is the new online campaign, where you can share the joy of Christmas with one of Bailey’s buddies. Unfortunately, the yuletide season can be a time of hardship for many despite the season of goodwill it brings, with many left isolated with no adult company to speak of.
Sam aims to change all that by helping you team up with like-minded individuals this Christmas time, so you can share the spirit of Christmas together, albeit virtually!
Explaining the concept further, Sam said:
Lockdown has really forced us to take stock and evaluate our mental health, so much so that it’s one of the reasons I started Bailey’s Cuppa Crew in the first place to get everyone together and have a good old natter!
I’ve loved tuning in, having a sing song and a cup of tea with you all, but now is the time to switch focus and ensure we don’t leave anyone isolated this Christmas time.
I know loads of struggling parents out there and the elderly, people that might not be able to turn to another adult to have a proper conversation over the dinner table.
This aims to change all that, and I want to act as a mediator. I know sometimes we can all need a push to come together, so what better excuse than at Christmas time.
I’m been inspired by my son Tommy, who sometimes has his own difficulties connecting with people due to his autism. I want to do this for him and everyone else that feels a bit vulnerable come December 25th
So if you’d like to share the joy of Christmas with someone likeminded just like you, albeit online, just register your details now to ensure you don’t miss out.
